   * daemon: run PAM and the session fork in an exec'd session-worker; the
     daemon never runs PAM after a fork
   * daemon: SessionRegistry with the greeter wake-up inside; AuthSlot and
     PendingGuard; split server.rs into connection, ipc_auth, launch,
     autologin and registry
   * daemon: release the login slot when PAM is stuck; register sessions
     that start after the greeter gave up or hung up without showing them
   * daemon: check the authenticated uid against the session owner on
     resume; lease the target VT for the session's lifetime
   * daemon: per-session log inode, bounded log tail; min_uid, power policy
     and no power-off with sessions running; PAM_USER honoured
   * daemon: close inherited descriptors in the payload; shutdown without
     waiting for session waiters; autologin bounded by a timeout
   * lockscreen: cancel the daemon conversation on timeout; AuthError and
     reset_to_idle; power flags from the config; translated timeout
   * ipc: sync_wire with the shared frame cap; Secret hex-encoded on the
     wire; zeroized frame buffers and passwords end to end
   * postinst: drop _loginmanager from video, input and seat
   * Unit tests for the auth conversation, registry, config, framing and
     policy; run by the package build
