ibis-office (0.8.3-1) unstable; urgency=low

  * Initial Debian packaging of ibisOffice 0.8.3, from upstream's tag v0.8.3
    with its GPUI submodules (debian/get-orig-source.sh).
  * ibis-office installs the desktop application, /usr/bin/ibisOffice with
    its icons and Word's art borders where upstream's AppImage puts them,
    and three launchers instead of upstream's one: documents, spreadsheets
    and presentations, with the default ltk theme's icons, each starting on
    a new file of its kind. Upstream's entry stays, hidden, for the windows
    and the file types.
  * ibis-office-web installs the browser version under
    /usr/share/ibis-office/web.
  * cli-new.patch: `--new docx|xlsx|pptx` starts on a new, empty file of
    that kind, and so does `?new=` in the browser; meant for upstream.
  * placeholder-prompts.patch: an empty placeholder's prompt shows in the
    language shown instead of always in Japanese; meant for upstream.
  * spanish.patch: a Spanish user interface, chosen by the system's language
    or in Settings; meant for upstream.
  * compact.patch: a compact layout for phones and narrow windows, chosen in
    Settings or by the window's width; meant for upstream.
  * web-paste.patch: the browser version pastes what other applications
    copied; meant for upstream (gpui-pre-web).
  * docx-reflow.patch: Web Layout runs a document's text to the window's
    width, as Word's does, and the compact layout shows a document so, in a
    mobile view that leaves the view saved in it alone, with its floating
    objects in the text and its wide pictures, shapes and tables fitted to
    the window; meant for upstream.
  * gpui-touch-pinch.patch: two fingers on a touch screen pinch to zoom;
    meant for upstream (gpui-pre).
  * gpui-linux-touch.patch: a touch screen's touches reach a Wayland window
    as touches, which tap, scroll and pinch; meant for upstream
    (gpui-pre-linux).
  * doc-open.patch: an old Word document (.doc) opens as a new Word
    document with its text, paragraphs, tables and character formatting,
    instead of failing as an old workbook without a "Book"; meant for
    upstream.
  * Rust comes from rustup at 1.99.1, not from Debian's rustc, which is too
    old for ibisOffice. The arm64 package cross-builds from amd64
    (dpkg-buildpackage -a arm64 -B).
