The on-screen keyboard: layouts from data files, and a Panel any host drives with presses and draws on a canvas.
ltk’s own runtime shows the panel under a focused text field when the compositor offers no input method; a compositor draws the same panel in its chrome and delivers the Events to the focused client itself.
Re-exports§
Modules§
- A keyboard layout as a data file: layers of rows of keys, and the variants a long press offers.
Structs§
- Sticky modifiers held for the next key.
- The keyboard’s state and geometry. Coordinates are those the host passes in, physical pixels in ltk’s runtime.
Enums§
- What the host has to do with a press the panel handled.
- What the field being typed into is for; picks the extra row above the layout.
Constants§
- How long a key is held before its variants open, or backspace starts repeating.
